How funny is this…I lost my keys and didn’t realise for days. Why is this, well I didn’t need to be anywhere so I had no idea until I decided to use the car, and then I couldn’t find them! It was a week-long search for my keys. Maybe this is how we should all self-isolate, having your keys taken away?

We are living in a crazy reality currently. People in self-isolation and enforced to work from home, canceling events, no international travel, and the closing of businesses to ensure that the public stays safe from COVID-19 or otherwise known as coronavirus.
COVID-19 (Coronavirus) has made its way to our home town, and this is very concerning. We are doing everything in our power to stay safe and healthy, but you never know what will happen. The local high school is closed as they have had a positive case of the virus and other events have been cancelled. I hope that we stay well and so do our friends and family.

The twins seem happy with grade 6 so far, they got great teachers and are pleased that they are finally the big kids at the school. Let’s hope that this happiness stays this way throughout the year.
My girls start grade 6 tomorrow. Yep, the last year of primary school is upon us and also attitude from grunty preteens. Wish us luck and I hope the kids get the teachers and the classes they want.
It hasn’t felt like a very joyful start to the new year, we’ve had fires, evacuations and people have lost houses and loved ones. Due to all the dangers and fires across Australia, it has made me think how grateful I am that we are safe and well. So currently “grateful” is my word for 2020 so far.
