The local high school is closed as they have had a positive case of the virus and other events have been cancelled. I hope that we stay well and so do our friends and family.

I am shocked to learn that the twins are visiting high school next week for the day and also soon I need to enroll the twins into the local high school! They have only started term 1 and now we need to focus on high school.

We’ve had non-stop torrential rain and it is now causing flooding. Trees have fallen blocking roads, flooding over roads have meant more roads are closed and other issues due to heavy rain and winds. Stay safe everyone!

It hasn’t felt like a very joyful start to the new year, we’ve had fires, evacuations and people have lost houses and loved ones. Due to all the dangers and fires across Australia, it has made me think how grateful I am that we are safe and well. So currently “grateful” is my word for 2020 so far.
