Win 20 Double Passes to See the Movie Gifted

I like the fact that kids get to live up to their potential.

I also like to think that I would be able to give my kids what they need or needed.

What if your child is a genius and you struggle to give them the education or help them be who they can be or will be?

The film Gifted touches on some very interesting topics, do you keep your extremely smart child with you but denying them the opportunity or do they live with the another family member to allow them to grow and to learn more?

What is Gifted About?

Frank Adler (Chris Evans) is a single man raising his spirited young niece Mary (Mckenna Grace) in a coastal town in Florida. But Mary is a brilliant child prodigy and Frank’s intention that she lead a normal life are thwarted when the seven-year-old’s
command of mathematics comes to the attention of his formidable mother Evelyn (Lindsay Duncan)—a wealthy Bostonian whose plans for her granddaughter threaten to separate Mary and Frank. As family tensions and disconnections flare, uncle and niece find support in Roberta (Octavia Spencer), their protective landlady and best friend, and Mary’s teacher Bonnie (Jenny Slate), a young woman whose concern for her student soon develops into a relationship with her uncle as well.

Id like to see it as it is different and unique to what is currently being made these days, its good to see a new film, instead of re-makes and re-releases! Plus it looks like a really good story.

Looks excellent. A kid should always be allowed to be just a kid. Childhood memories are special.

A fascinating subject and I am sure one that will pull at the heartstrings. It is not a dilemma I have faced as a parent, but my parents did as my older sister was gifted, so I am intrigued to watch this movie and I am sure would shed a few tears.

Having two toddlers, I often wonder if I am doing enough to help them develop and learn especially when I see they are eager to learn and their peers have such busy timetables full of things we can’t afford! I’d love to see this movie to see how this Gifted child seeks their greater potential with different parenting styles. I’d love to see this at Macquarie centre! Thanks for the opportunity
