Keep Cool With Clark Rubber

by

Summer is here. The days are hotter. The sun is shining. And soon the kids will be on school holidays (Read on to find out how you can win a Splash and Shade Wading Pool from Clark Rubber).

And if your house is like mine you will have the following happen.

“I’m bored mummy!” or “Can we go somewhere fun?” or possibly “Can we go to the pool/beach?”

If are like me, you love taking the kids places. But it can be a bit of a drama with driving to and fro, packing all the things needed for a trip to the pool or the beach (and with what you need to take, you can feel like you are moving out of home) and of course, then you have the trip in the car with kids that could do your head in.

Thanks to Clark Rubber we can have a BBQ in our garden while the kids play on their superslide. No need to leave the house, perfect for a summers day and also a very relaxing way to catch up with friends.

So what is the answer?

Well for me, it is to stay at home. So how do you cure the boredom and constant questions to go out from your little people?

The solution is to have things available at home so that your kids can play and you don’t have to leave the house.

This way you can even have mates over for a BBQ and catch up while the kids can play together. Perfect don’t you think?

What type of things could you have to entertain the kids this summer?

Clark Rubber has some great items to keep kids entertained and cool this summer:

If you have a pool already at your house these items might be of interest:

How do I keep my kids cool this summer?

Clark Rubber kindly sent me the Superslide Triple to test out (the kids love being testers). The kids love the sprinkler and the pool so I’m sure that this slide will be a huge hit.

I did not tell them what it was. It was all wrapped up in brown paper and of course that got ripped off quick smart. Two little faces were so happy and excited that they had a slide to use in the backyard.

One other point that the girls were happy with was that there was room for their good friend down the street to come and use it as well. Having a triple slide means that all three kids could have fun, a good thing for when Alexander gets older.

The girls were so excited when they found out they had a Superslide from Clark Rubber, and that it was a triple one. Of course my kids love getting wet and cooling off on a hot day. This is perfect to keep kids happy and cool on a hot summer day.

It was a very easy slide to set up. Some pegs were put into the side of the slide to make sure that it did not move around too much.

As you can see, the girls mate from down the road was happy to help cool down with this fabulous slide. It was such a hot day that all three kids were begging us to cool them down with something, the sprinkler, a drink, or anything. Having this at home was so easy and defiantly made all three kids day, plus and stopped them whinging for me to take them somewhere else.

All three kids blew up their sliders with the supervision of Alexander. Our baby boy did a good job checking that all was done correctly.

Once all set up and ready to go, we added the hose to get the whole thing wet and ready for its first use.

As you can see they had a blast using the Triple Superslide from Clark Rubber and cannot wait for a nice hot day to do it again.

The twins are such outdoor kids and love getting dirty, wet and having fun especially on hot summer days.

It was so nice to stay at home while the kids played. I am normally racing around in the car and during summer this can be a hot and sweaty experience. I do have air conditioning but the appeal of not leaving the house made me have a more relaxed day as well.

Everyone had a nice, fun, and happy summers day. I must say that I got into the action and got wet from the slide too. It is hard not to get wet when kids are racing everywhere and trying to splash the adults (I think this is part of the fun, who can get mummy and daddy more soaked).

Our little helper Alexander ended up in the mud cooling down as well! Everyone had fun, although some a little messier than others.

Alexander ended up very messy after playing in the water and then the mud. Being a superslide supervisor is a tough gig.

Always remember, never leave children unattended when playing near water. Also, check with your local council for pool and spa fencing, safety and water regulations.

This year, we are not going away for the school holidays, so it is going to be somewhat difficult keeping three kids entertained! This would be a great way to allow them to have fun without leaving home, and even have some friends or cousins over for a play too!

Let’s be honest, there’s just SOOO much to pack when leaving the house, especially if it involves water! Our big backyard is perfect for water play and we often invite friends over to let the kids run around together.

We’ve been racing to and fro all year. I’ve put my foot down and said No! to driving, shifting, lugging, packing and spending money at service stations. I am not going anywhere these holidays! I want to sit in my hammock in my beautiful shady garden and read a book. So the kids will have to find something homey to enjoy. They can stick garbage bags together and slide on them like I had to, make a Bear Grylls cubby, water the vegies or something…we’re staying home! Home, sweet home!

I’d love to entertain them at home because SAVINGS, it’s also easier to get them to nap in their own beds and it also means not getting in and out of a stinking hot car all holidays!

I swear it’s harder to entertain kids than when i was a kid. All you needed was a hose haha. This looks like a sure fire way to not only stay cool this Summer but have fun while doing it. Already contemplating how I can get the tv outside so we can watch the tennis while soaking 😉 oh yeah and the kids would like it too.

I love how easy it is to entertain the kids when we’re at home. We have a wide choice of food and drinks, its all in the fridge so we dont need an esky and cleaning up is a breeze. You also dont have to spend hours preparing or travelling to get to your destination which means everyone can play for longer

but every Summer it is said,
taking all five of them out can be an ordeal,
but a Clark Rubber pool is sure to appeal,
cheaper, funner and safer all year round,
    I’ll never hear another sound!

Its always more cost effective to entertain at home, and just that tad bit more comfortable and closer to routine. Its also important to be grateful and appreciative of the space you live in and show this to the kids as well.

Living far away from the beach, I have always been a Clark Rubber pool fan. The kids have plenty of fun with the hose whilst filling a pool as they do playing IN the pool. A pool at Granny’s house would be super… perhaps I should send Granny to visit Clark Rubber.
