Allen’s have just relaunched their “Jelly Tots” and “Tangy Tots” range, due to poplar demand. They were kind enough to send me some packs before the stores got them. Yes how amazing, snacking on treats that are not even in the shops yet.
Jelly Tots were introduced in 1998, but then removed in 2004. In their new reincarnation they have been revamped, having no artificial colours and with portion advice on the back of every pack.
The ingredients panel lists real ingredients not numbers as well as QR codes that link to more nutritional information.
Some things you might not know about Allen’s Jelly Tots and Tangy Tots:
- Did you know that 14 small pieces make up a one portion for Jelly Tots.
- Tangy Tots are sprinkled with a tangy coating and 12 small pieces make up one portion.
- Simple fruity flavours that Australians love, orange, lime, lemon, strawberry and blackberry.
- The flavours have been developed specifically for Australian taste buds and in the Allen’s factory in Broadford, Victoria.
They are very tasty and I do like them a lot. I am saving some packs for the twins birthday as this will suit the theme of the party very much. More to come on the blog soon about party preparation and what theme it is this year.

Did you miss these tangy treats when they were away? If you did they are back and I’m sure you will be super happy about that.
Thanks Allen’s for sending my care pack with the Tangy and Jelly Tots. It was a lovely surprise.
