SPOT CHARACTERS FROM THE GRUFFALO ALONG THE SCENIC WALKWAY
Have fun spotting Mouse, Owl, Snake, and the Gruffalo while you explore the scenic walkway. Make sure you purchase an Unlimited Discovery Ticket as this is included for Gruffalo Spotters.
We had such fun spotting all the animals from the Gruffalo and my little boy was reciting the story to me as we walked.
We made Owl fly, we made Snake dance, and frightened the Gruffalo. Downloading the free Gruffalo Spotter 2 App, before setting off on an adventure on the world’s steepest train, the Scenic Railway into the Jamison Valley, and searching the deep, dark woods along Scenic World’s elevated boardwalk for interactive signs that trigger the appearances of the characters.
Using the app, you can take photos and videos of you, the kids and the family interacting with the characters as the signs along the walk activate Mouse, Fox, Owl, Snake and The Gruffalo.
TRAVEL THE SCENIC RAILWAY
The Scenic Railway is fun and very very steep… it is a quick way to get to the Scenic Walkway and is a real experience. Make sure to hang onto your bag and hat and enjoy!

April 2, 2023See my boys experience the wonderful fresh air, views and history of the area as I did in my youth. The scenic railway would just thrill my boys. I wish we were there right now.

April 3, 2023We’d love to do everything!! The cable car looks amazing, the skyway looks scary (but amazing) and how fun would it be to go Gruffalo spotting! It would be a great way to spend time with family and a great excuse for a weekend away.
