It has been cold and bad weather lately… yes we have had snow and it has been freezing. Why not be warm inside and have your favourite characters come to life. The twins loved this and cannot wait to do more and of course get more books. One of them on the must buy list is Monster High, the girls are imagining what the characters will do

Our overview and opinion of the Crayola ‘Color Alive’ products was 100% favourable. They are a cheap, fun and a clever way for kids to spend some time. Also due to our wet and cold weather it is something for the kids to do where you know they will be okay, have a great time and have a unique experience.
It is a great gift idea and a quick item to have on hand for your child’s next play date.

We had issues with Alexander who had silent reflux when he was born and it lasted up until three months of age. He is still rather particular about being upright and of course cannot drink too much as he will then bring it straight back up. He was a very fussy baby and I think he had issues with his belly not handling things in the early days. You can read more about what happened with our little boy here.
After trying to settle the baby and to help him to relieve the wind and the pain in his belly it would all start again. Yes the 3-4 hours it took to settle him then meant that I had to feed him all over again and therefore this horrible issue would come back. I would dread feeding him the bottle due to what would happen afterwards…yes another 4 plus hours with a screaming baby.

I had no idea that goat’s milk might be more similar to breast milk, maybe this is why it is easier to digest for babies? It is more like what mum would be giving the baby.

Do your kids love a good story before bed? Mine do. Once they have their PJ’s on and are all snuggled in bed, it is a perfect time for a story.
My girls have a wild and vivid imagination. Stories about princesses, fairies, fanciful characters and faraway places the kids just adore. It makes their play even more interesting, they take the ideas and the characters from a story and start acting it out in their make believe games. Do your kids do this too? It is nice to see that they love the story so much that they are wanting to become the characters themselves.

So what did I think?
I liked the fact that it was not a sickly sweet drink. Other colas and fizzy drinks are too sweet for me. Pepsi Next was a wonderful surprise, it tasted great, and did not have the syrup like taste the other fizzy drinks do.
I’m conscious of what I put in my mouth and body, having something that is lower in sugar content is great.
This drink is great as you can still have a treat and not spoil your diet.
Give it a go and you will love it as much as I did

Product Talk by Nuffnang sent me new products from Dove to test drive. Yes a lucky lady indeed! I was the tester for the following new products:

I have taken both products to the pool with me and used them after an aqua aerobics work out, used them at home and recently taken them away with me when I stayed over at a hotel. Yes I managed to be kid free for a night.(Wonders will never cease!)
So what are my thoughts on the product? Well at first I thought it might have a perfume of some kind even a slight one but it was not to be. That is good in a way as you put on your deodorant and it is not overpowering and can allow you to put on your perfume of choice. If the deodorant had a fragrance this would I feel hinder wearing a perfume or just allow you to have the perfume of the deodorant. This was a plus for me as I like to wear perfume.
When I used it at the pool I tried the spray and was amazed at how quickly it dries. I zapped some under my arms and around the body and was right to go very quickly afterwards. There was no stains on any clothing as I thought that it might happen due to the quick nature of the product drying, but not an issue at all.
While away at the hotel I used the roll on to freshen up before a dinner and then in the morning used the spray again. On all occasions I was kept dry and forgot that I was wearing deodorant at all. It did not irritate my skin and that is good as I have sensitive skin.
Dove has cleverly designed a product that allows me to be dry and confident without having my skin flair up; it might have something to do with the fact that Dove Pure contains ¼ moisturising cream. If you are like me the moisturising cream is needed as I’m prone to dry skin easily.
