Me looking glam with my hair out for a change.

A bit about me: my name is Suzanne; I am based in the Blue Mountains, NSW, Australia.

I am an ex-career girl (well still a career girl, but not in the office). I have worked for the ABC (Australian Broadcasting Corporation), News Ltd.’s, CareerOne.com.au as a producer, and lots more. I have experience in film, video, multimedia, and photography.

While working at the ABC I became pregnant with the girls. I had the choice to go back to work after I had the girls, however due to no family to help, the distance I live from work, and the cost of childcare, it was not an option for me. So now I’m a stay at home mummy to my lovely twin girls and son.

I started Mummy to Twins Plus One blog as a project for me to work on and a way to document what is happening with me and the children. As a producer of websites I love being in charge of my own site and building it to be bigger, better, and more popular.

The blog and my other social sites is my way of building a community about twins, children, life and the wonderful stories that happen as a mother.

I have a Masters in Project Management with a specialisation in Strategic Project Management Implementation, so check out my post about my graduation.

    Hi,

I just wanted to say hi, I’m a mum of 6 year old twins in Tarana ( from Katoomba). So nice to meet (so to speak) a mum of twins too. I look forward to reading your blog.

    Cheers,
    Lori

Hi Lori, nice to meet you as well, and thanks for the comment, good to hear from a fellow Katoomba local. Hope you enjoy the blog and wow 6 year old twins. Do you have boy/girl or the same sex twins? Mine are identical girls. My girls are four in September so that is amazing to me, cannot believe it has been four years already. I imagine that now they are six you have some more me time?

I just got back from hanging the clothes on the line, my hands have just started to defrost… it is cold but sunny. I just hope the black cloud stays away and the blue sky remains.

Thanks and keep checking out the site for new things.

Hi Suzanne, I’m not a twin mummy myself (although I do have two kids) but am fascinated by twin stories and am looking forward to following your adventures. Your girls are beautiful 🙂

I would choose cool summer dresses and shorts. Summer is here and I’d love the children to look fresh.
