The other day I was at the kids school. I had Alexander with me and was chatting with a fellow mum.
She then said the nicest thing, “You are a good mummy and you’re doing a great job”
OHHHHHHHH how nice to hear, and what a fabulous thing to say.

For all the Moms in the USA I have the same graphic with the correct spelling for you too.
It made me think. I don’t hear this often, or at all.
I don’t say it to others and of course should.
I like many live with doubt and worry that I’m doing a good job. I have periods that I think that I am a shit mum and I am failing at everything.
Spending my time racing to school, home, childcare, shops and doing jobs around the house and not to mention blogging.
It is like we are running ourselves ragged and only stop for a few seconds to breathe and then be on the constant go again.
If your a mum it is tough…
You might have a full time job, parents to care for, kids that need your attention, the housework, your partner needs attention too and then what about you?
I would like to encourage you to make another mum’s day and to tell them that they are doing a great job too.
Tell a mum/mom today what a fabulous job they are doing!

They do a wonderful job and the most important one of all, so lovely to say special and inspirational words to brighten/bring sunshine to someone's day.
Yes mothers everywhere do an awesome and important job. I do agree saying something lovely to another does make their day and also makes you feel good too. Suzanne
