The last week or so I have noticed it is getting warmer. Don’t worry it is still cold and icy at times and it is still winter but not as cold as it normally is this time of year. As it is still officially winter it should be cold and the plants should not be flowering or acting like it is Spring or any other time of the year.
My garden thinks it is Spring and this is a terrible thing! Things are all out of whack, the plants that are flowering normally flower in our yard about mid to late August and at the latest September. It is July, yes it is nearly August and it is only a couple of days till the first day of August but for us this is early.

You will see that the blossom tree has actual blossoms on it. I know it is hard to see but it is exciting. The one above once covered with blossoms smells like honey and it is a delight to have at our house. Makes everything smell amazing. I just hope that the wind goes away. I hate it when my blossom tree does flower and then the wind carrys the blossoms away, it does not last long.

My mom had the prettiest camellia bush, they have such pretty flowers! Our weather has been crazy this whole year, my plants started early in the spring and then this summer we had almost two solid months of rain :)
Our weather here has just been rather warm for this time of year, however we have had some very cold weeks. This morning woke up to it raining. Glad the laundry was in for the night and it is good all the garden is getting a water. Sounds like it is not just us that has had odd weather.
