Today we are taking matters into our own hands, we are removing a tree ourselves. This problem tree is too close to the house and is dropping branches. To remove it professionally we pay over $900 so it is a saving. I just hope that it goes according to plan and that the hubby can get it all done in time before we need to return the cherry picker.
I was concerned that we would not be successful with the way the tree would come down, but I must say it went better than expected. No issue, the tree came down and no injury to people, no injury to the fence and also our house or the neighbours house. So the outcome that you hope for was what we got. As you can imagine the girls were very excited but did not help as they ended up playing with the neighbours kids, which was great as it kept them busy and ours. A win win really.
So here are some pictures of the day.
