This is brilliant. Most dads are great, however there are some that are not (like everyone I guess, some people are great and others not). I do understand about the ones that aren’t. My father was there but was violent and abusive, due to this my mother left him. So my mum was then a single mother. She worked hard to provide for my sister and I, and my mum was my dad and mum like what Marshall Davis Jones has experienced.
I must say that this brought a tear to my eye and found it very emotional. You have been warned. Anything that is a tear jerker makes me cry now.

It's very powerful! I was so blessed to have a great dad, and now I watch my husband be that fantastic father to my children, and I can't even imagine life without one. Dad's are so important. But when I watch that, i think I empathise most with the mums that are alone. That are filling all those roles. Because I struggle to fill the role of mother, let alone both.
