About Figs and Honey

Figs and Honey Catering and Events is a home based catering business that uses quality produce and all products are made from scratch. No artificial flavours, colours or additives., completely natural and organic products.  Vicki even has much of the fresh produce growing from her own garden and has chickens that give her fresh eggs to go into her tasty creations.

The business is the brainchild of Vicki Millington who believes in the natural food philosophy. Millington has seen how additives in food makes her children act differently and as soon as she went with baking things from scratch and eating what was locally available in the garden and seasonally she noticed a big difference. They were happier, the kids were not all over the place and even herself and the husband noticed that they had clearer skin and felt better overall.

Figs and Honey is a family orientated business, even her eight-year-old, Lily helps and makes her own brownies. Cooking and catering must be in the blood of this family.

Vicki has been involved in the food industry for years and has previously worked as a barista in Mosman and also owned and run a café in the Southern Highlands.

Figs & Honey Catering and Events is located in the Southern Highlands and are happy to cater your next event. Grazing Platters, Hampers and High Teas are all available. Figs and Honey Catering and Events can cater for up to 60 people so don’t worry about large groups.

I believe that by eating as few processed, additive-laden foods as possible you can actually get the most out of your food – and it always nearly TASTES better too. And being more connected with your food is far more healthy.

Eating a diet that is high in nutrients and low in additives etc is really important, not only for my health, but because I am a role model for my three young daughters. I want to teach them the benefits of healthy eating and encourage them to choose healthy options as they grow.

I like to know exactly what my family and i are eating, that’s why we stick to locally or home grown organic food as much as possible. I like having the peace of mind knowing we aren’t getting exposed to chemicals or products that could harm us later on in life.

As a family removing those things has made a huge difference not only to day- to-day moods but also understanding & learning. Our three children all suffer from Asthma as do, I however I also have MS so eating healthy food is a must. These goodies sound wonderful & both of you ladies are giving us all a chance to taste how food really should. Keep up the good work.

We had some behavioural issues with our eldest; once we cut the junk things improved enormously. Food is our fuel; your car wouldn’t run well on dirty fuel and neither do our bodies or minds.

I don’t need to eat extra chemicals if I am eating quality produce. With everything that we do in our life, and inhale in our life. Fumes from cars, air fresheners and fly sprays not to mention second hand smoke the worst possible thing to do would be to add something to it.
