More about Treasures Nappies

Treasures have been creating nappies for New Zealand mums and dads for 30 years.  The nappies are absorbent with fantastic leak protection, also making sure that they are soft and comfortable for your baby.

The nappies have a unique rapid flow liner that helps draw moisture/liquid away from the baby’s skin, the drycore works to keep and lock wetness away keeping your little one dry and comfy.

How did I help my babies sleep through the night?

When the twins were babies, I was blessed that they were good sleepers. However they did have their share of bad nights, sick, teething and just out of sorts.  When they were out of sorts, or ill. I made sure of course that they had a fresh nappy, clean clothes and was warm enough. If they needed medicine, I gave it to them, made sure they had a bottle of milk and then cuddled them until they were sleepy enough to be put back to bed in their cot.

Since I had twins, I woke kids to feed them so I fed them at the same time. However if one was sick and the other was not, I tried not to wake the other. Sometimes this was successful and others not.

Using pixie dust is my personal favourite for ensuring children sleep through the night. I wish!!

I do think you just have to be lucky, every child is so different, but you can help things along with calm before bed, little ones clean & dry and a full tum.

My tip is that the children should be tired and they must eat proper dinner for a good night sleep where they sleep throughout the night. I take them to the playground in the evening and let them play to their heart’s content , then make sure they eat properly at dinner. There should be a proper bedtime routein of bath, story time, cuddles and rhymes and when the child is satisfied, happy and tired – he definitely sleeps throughout the night. #SleepingTreasures

Whoever came up with the line “sleeping like a baby” had never met my daughter! We had so many problems getting her to sleep when she was a baby. We followed a strict routine of dinner, bath, milk, bedtime stories check for a clean and dry nappy then wrap and bed. This helped but the best trick to settle her was the shooshing sound repeated adnauseum. I got so sick of repeating it over and over I recorded myself on my phone and put it on repeat under the cradle while I quietly crept out the door… It worked a treat! #SleepingTreasures

My little girl has a dream light animal toy which signs stars onto the roof and then goes to bed with a story shared with Mummy, a belly full of milk and she’s out with the fairies for the night.

Hi Nikita, My kids have a lady bug that puts stars and moons on the ceiling of their room. They are excellent for setting the mood for bedtime.Good luck, Suzanne.

Your asking the wrong person haha, my kids don’t sleep at all. Maybe treasure nappies is the answer to a successful nights sleep 😉

At the moments it’s hundreds of stories, trips to the toilet, extra top ups of milk in her bottle, trips to check what we’re doing… but seriously, a nice warm bath and a full tummy help the most. #sleepingtreasures
