WIN: 2 Menulog Vouchers

by

Do you sometimes want an easy solution for dinner? I know I do!

I love home delivered food as it allows me to take a break.  While you are waiting for your delivery you can put your feet up, sip a nice glass of wine and of course watch your favourite show. Maybe an episode of House of Cards, or say Vikings? The choice is yours… especially when you have gained time not getting hot and sweaty in the kitchen.

Another plus is if you have managed to have your kitchen spotless and super tidy, getting food delivered will extend the life of the clean kitchen. It is a small window, but it is nice to have it cleaner for a bit longer. You whiz around and make it sparkle, and then you cook dinner and it is like you have not cleaned at all! Home delivery for dinner makes this not happen.

What can I win?

Menulog has kindly given Mummy to Twins 2 x $40 vouchers to readers.

Yes that means that 2 lucky readers can win a voucher each. Dinner is on me, well part of it. Or on Menulog that is.

Menulog - NO1 for Takeaway

Menulog – Number 1  for Takeaway

What is Menulog?

Menulog is a website that allows you to order from over 5000 restaurants around Australia. It is very easy to use.

All you do is enter your post code/suburb,  and it brings up restaurants that are in your area.

Once you see one that you fancy, look at the menu and you can then start to create your order.

At the end of your order you can pay using PayPal or Credit. If you have a gift voucher just enter the code it will automatically deduct the amount of the voucher from the order and you just pay the difference.

Menulog kindly gave me a voucher to try out their service. Once I ordered, I got an email saying that my order was received. I then got a text message to tell me that delivery would be at a certain time and they were prompt. It was very impressive, on time, great service and the food was tasty. Oh and I did not have to cook!

I decided on Indian for dinner and this is what I ordered:

  • Garlic Prawn (6 pcs)
  • 2 x Plain Naan
  • Navratan Korma
  • Punjabi Fish Masala
  • 2 x Steam Rice
My order. It came on time and was so tasty!

The prizes are?

2 online vouchers to the value of $40. Two readers have the chance to win.  Once winners announced the vouchers will be valid for another 3 months. So you will have plenty of time to use them.

How to Enter?

Fill out the Rafflecopter form and simply leave a blog comment on this post. The blog comment needs to answer the following, “Why would you like a night off cooking?” I know it will be an easy answer so the most creative and worthy will get the vouchers.

Firstly it would be just wonderful to have one night off cooking and cleaning. It would be also wonderful to give my kids a meal (just once), without a comment and someone giving me “she trying to poison us” look…
Ohh and its my birthday next friday 🙂

We get one sneaky night off a week from Cooking for the kids, as they enjoy a night at grandma’s…..it would be awesome to take that night off the extra mile and enjoy home delivery!

We actually don’t get many take away meals at all, as it is a cost that our budget doesn’t usually allow for. So it would be a really welcomed treat for my family of five to have a take away meal together!

We are moving in May to a new house and with everything in boxes the first week or so can be tough. Moving is stressful enough without having to worry about cooking, so this would be more than amazing to win.

I feel like I am spending my entire life in the kitchen recently all to have food thrown over me by the end of dinner. Words can’t describe how nice it would be to put the lovely brats to bed and order something nice for dinner. I might even share the leftovers 🙂

A night off cooking would seriously be a dream. With a newborn and toddler late afternoon is generally crazy let alone trying to think about what to eat! One less thing to think about would be awesome!

By the time I’m finished cooking dinner, I don’t have the energy for fancy plating or flash presentation… I’d love a night off cooking so we could bring out a tablecloth, some good dinnerware, maybe light a candle, and enjoy our meal in style! 🙂
