Actually, it was amazing.
Why was it so good? Well, I am glad you have asked.
I was invited to learn about Western Digital’s new product launch for their consumer storage solutions.
Ready to learn about the fab new home storage products from Western Digital and to experience lunch at the Quay Restaurant.
Not only was I looking at new technology which I love, but I was also invited to have lunch.
This was no ordinary lunch, it was lunch at Quay Restaurant at the Overseas Passenger Terminal at the Rocks. I have never had the privilege of eating at this restaurant so of course, I was super excited to sample the food.
I got to the event early and due to the sunny day and such fab items to photograph, I couldn’t resist taking more pictures on my iPhone.
Yes, more photos to back up and now Western Digital has the products to help me.
I’m a perfect candidate for these great storage products. I have over 8,000 photos on my iPhone. Don’t freak out, the lady who I was seated next to had over 20,000 so what I have is small in comparison.
How many photos do you currently have on your smartphone? Have you backed them up?
What would happen if you lost your phone? Or if the images were deleted somehow?
I know if I lost my images I would be devastated. Backing up is on my list as a major priority.
The Radiance of the Seas ready to depart for a big trip. Not sure where it was going but people were busy checking in for their holiday. I wish I was going on this cruise too.
Since I was early for the launch and lunch I walked around the Overseas Passenger Terminal and took more photos. Yep, more to back up.

Yep, the twins were at school and getting picked up by another mum, while the baby was in childcare for the day.

My Cloud Home is one central storage solution for all your videos and photos. If you are like many people, myself included you have a lot of images and yes videos that are stored on multiple devices. It might be on your desktop computer, your iPhone, dropbox, Google Drive and Apple’s iCloud to name a few.
The new My Cloud Home look very stylish. It will sit on your desk or anywhere in your home and look amazing.
Western Digital has created the My Cloud Home to allow home users to back up their precious memories and have them easy to access.
The My cloud Home is able to be used no matter where you are in the world. If you are overseas or say simply at work, all you need to do is to log in to retrieve your data. Easy really.
Fast forward to three kids later most of my phone is filled with pictures and videos of the kids, and stuff for my blog as well. So to lose these precious items and never to get again photographs would be terribly upsetting.
The new My Cloud Home is very eye catching. You can also plug in USB drives to add or to move data.
Backing up my data is what I need to do, and Western Digital will be super helpful with my quest to ensure that I don’t lose anything of my life.
This product is amazing and that is not an understatement. It is an extension of the other products that SanDisk created to help iPhone users store their data.
The iXpand Base allows users to back up all their data while it charges their phone. How cool is this!!!
The sleek design allows the cable to be wrapped around the side of the Ixpand Base so that it is tidy for your desk.
This card is on hubby’s wish list. He is drooling over it for his photography and videos as well.
These great new products are designed to empower consumers to easily manage their increasing amount of data. Yes, we are all producing so many more pictures and videos.

Protecting our memories is extremely important. It could be the birth of a child/grandchild, videos of the last family holiday or pictures of family members that are no longer here anymore.
Having a way to back up this ever increasing data is essential.
Also having a way that you can access the data easily is important too. Nothing worse than backing up data to find it next to impossible to access it, and also take ages to get to it.
Had to take the obligatory selfie while kid free. It was a sensational lunch, a fabulous day learning about products that will help my family keep all our photos and precious moments safe. Thanks Western Digital for the invitation and for showing me your shiny new items.
Western Digital have created easy to use storage for families. A quick setup, and then you can start using the device. It is basically plug and play.
